Back to my old self!

hey all,

Thanks to those of you that were concerned about me! Im back to my old self. I actually was back to my old self by about Tuesday. I'm such a tough babe. I went back to playgroup on Wednesday and Thursday and Juan said I did well. Today Miri took me to the park and I played around with this fun friend of mine Mediva. He is kind of a boxer mix.

Also, I forgot to tell you this earlier - when we went to the vet I was weighed and guess how much I weigh now --- 63 lbs!! YAY! I gained a lot since my diarrhea days - I was 53 for a while which was way too low. I still have my girlish figure but im just much more curvy and my ribs arent sticking out anymore.

Speaking of ribs not sticking out anymore, Miri is growing! She looks cute that way though. Tom seems to like it. And I think he gained a few lbs too. I guess he and I are having sympathetic pregnancy symptoms!

later kids.

Hump at your own risk

Well folks, I got bit last night. I'm ok. Don't be too alarmed. However, I'm limping a bit and Ive got a shaved patched where the bite is. I have to admit that its a bit of my own fault. You know about my humping habit. Well, I humped Jake (our neighbor dog) once too many and he decided he'd had enough of it. I also think it has to do with the fact that they have another dog staying with them because her mom and dad are on vacation. Apparently Jake has been acting weird since she got there - I think he feels neglected and a bit sad. So anyway, last night I went out for my last pee of the evening and Jake was out there! I greeted him with my usual "happy to see you" hump and at first he was cool with it. But then, he got pissed and he bit me under my arm. I cried and slunk away. I had a rough night and cried a bit and then Miri picked me up and brought me into bed with her. She pet me and calmed me down. She's a good egg. Then she took me to the vet today where they shaved the bite so they could get a good look at it and they said it would heal better without all the hair there. They gave me antibiotics and pain medicine so it wont get infected and so I can feel better. It looks kind of unattractive but what can a girl do? I guess it makes me look tough! Very butch. GRRRRR!

O Brother, where art thou?

Yesterday Miri told me I was going to have a brother soon! I didn't say anything back to her at the time but I have some thoughts about it.

1) I am hoping she means human brother because there shall be no other dogs here to compete with me. I am the queen bee of the canines in the McDonald home.

2) I'm glad its not a sister because I like being the girl. I mean if it was a girl, im sure Id adapt but I think its better for me to remain the girl baby.

3) I am also excited that its a boy because i think a boy is more my style in terms of being a little rough and tumble. I could be described as a tomboy myself and I think Ill like a more playful brother rather than a girlie and delicate sister because im anything but delicate.

More thoughts later. That's all for now!

XOXO
