I've still got it

Even WITH Diarrhea, I'm still desireable not only by canine suitors but humans too. Dreamy David Silver wrote me a comment today! He said I'm sweet, pretty and a good writer too.

slurp!

Thats right folks. I've done it again! I ate another bird tonight! Miri was livid. Some Brit tried to help her pry my jaws open but I had those babies locked! His wife commented in her oh-so-sexy british accent "my, how strange for a dog to eat a bird!" Miri, through her gasps of horor, said "She eats everything!"

NOTHING can stop me!

I AM CANINE, hear me roar!

PS - I think Miri's still mad at me :(

What goes around comes around...

Well, let me just warn you, this posting is not going to be pretty, elegant, or ladylike. I think I got what was coming to me for bragging about Tipper's fishy mishap. Remember how I mentioned about my diarrhea? Well, it got worse.

Yesterday during the day when no one was home, I couldn't hold it so I went in the back room. Tom had to clean it up. Poor guy. I felt badly about it but what's a girl to do? I didn't know when the humans would arrive and I had to go! Note - this is foreshadowing for what was to come...

I guess I must have eaten some sort of clump of reeds, weeds, or grass patch when i was outside recently. Sometimes I think things are animals and I go for the gold so quickly to avoid being caught by the humans. Well, unfortunately this thing was not as digestible as a savory animal. This crazy clump of reeds made its way slowly down south last night and in middle of the night it came out... I know I should have cried to wake them up and take me out but I was so uncomfortable and had a feeling it might take a while. They like to rush me when its late because our neighborhood is a little sketchy at night and I guess they are tired or something? But they should know I would protect them. I have a very scary bark and big teeth! I have successfully made several creepy looking people cross to the other side of the street.

Anyway, I figured why disturb their slumber? Why not just take my time and get it out all over their beautiful rug? If they would have left the door open to the back room, I probably would have done it on the cheap rug but that door was closed. Between us, the rug in our main room is just OK. All those squares kind of make me dizzy.

However, I felt bad when they came out and saw the big mess I made. Miri was cleaning for a long time this morning. I sort of moped in the corner because I thought she might be annoyed with me. It helps to look cute when they are annoyed.

I hope I feel better soon. And man am I hungry!! Miri just game me some lame rice this morning. What kind of meal is that?

Something's Fishy!

This posting is an ode to my dear friend Tipper the Beagle. I have to admit that I'm posting this mainly to brag that I am not the only one that does crazy things.

Tipper ate an entire bottle of fish oil capsules -- not just the capsules but the BOTTLE TOO! Apparently the poor dear reeks of fish.

PS - On a related note, I have diarrhea ... again...

H-O-T

Sorry for not keeping up with the posts recently. To be honest, its just too damn hot I cant even think straight. I'm so busy panting these days.

Tonight we went to the dog park and saw Ted, Roscoe and Mambo. I had some good humps with Roscoe and a good go with the ball now and again. But then I was just too hot so we left.

Then it thundered and I got really scared.

More later... Hopefully it will cool off soon.

The Poop Report

Well folks, its an unpleasant subject but worth mentioning nonetheless. Unfortunately I had a little bout of intestinal upset the last few days. Hence my lack of postings. However, things have pretty much cleared up and I'm back to my old self!

The highlight of the weekend was definitely saturday night. I was invited over to Tom and Miri's friends place where they have a huge fenced in back yard AND a pretty fun little son that, lucky for yours truly, likes to feed dogs lots of treats! I had a ball running around that place and zonked out when we got home.

FYI, I'm still a menace in the car. I can't help it that it freaks me out. Also I get excited about where we might be going! Miri even tried giving me this stuff called Only Natural Pet Herbal Ease but no go. I think I must be TOO anxious for that herbal strength stuff. Maybe it would work for a less severe case!

Dupont Rumor Mill

Well folks, its official, my blog is famous in Dupont Circle. It was only a matter of time really. We went to the park tonight - very fun I might add! I got in a few good humps and played a bit with some of the pups. But, I digress.

As soon as we came into the park Ted's dad told Miri he saw my blog! I trotted over to the water bowl acting all non-chalant like I wasn't interested but I kept my ears up for more details. Miri asked him how he found it and apparently someone else from the park told him about it. Based on that key tidbit, I'd venture to guess that I am the #1 topic of the dupont dog lovers rumor mill. Pretty cool hey? Not surprising though right?

The park was super fun tonight but I was a bad girl at the end. I saw something across the street that might have been a squirrel so I went for it! I am oblivious when it comes to cars. Anyway, it was a false alarm so I ran back thinking maybe Miri didn't even see because I was so fast. No luck. She put my leash on immediately and marched me out muttering something about how I could have gotten hurt. Not me. I'm invincible!

Matching Necklaces

Tom was out tonight. Need I say more?

Random Thoughts

Hello dear fans,

Apologies for the delay in postings. Tom and Miri went away AGAIN and turned off the laptop AGAIN! So frustrating. I don't mind them leaving because I get to hang out with my fun pet sitter Jake but PLEASE PEOPLE! I have a commitment to my public!

Anyway, here's a little recap of Friday til today:

Friday evening's walk was super fun. I had a great time at the dupont dog park. Miri let me romp sans leash. Tons of dogs were there and I had a good go at it with this dog named Lincoln.

Friday night we had guests! Jennifer (one of my FAVE humans), Doug, Jane, and Brian! Can we just talk about Jane for a minute? Jane and I have some similarites that I must point out. We have lustrous black hair, we are beautiful, a little snobby (just a little) but we have big hearts so we can get away with the snob factor. For example, Jane said she didn't have time to read my blog (read: I'm too good for a dog's blog) but I think she will secretly read it anyway. Oh -- and I love that fox Brian. He is the cat's meow or I guess in my case -- the dog's bark. Maybe Jane and I can work out a little deal where I get Brian on nights she is "not in the mood." I must also mention Doug here. I have a serious crush on him but every time I gaze at him Jennifer gives me that "PAWS OFF" look! I must say, do respect that protective quality about her.

Saturday and Sunday I spend time snuggling and having fun with Jake the amazing pet sitter!
